Who am I?
My name is Carson Moran I am a 24 year old college student and full time Bladesmith. I am an Eagle Scout and Infantry Marine. As a Marine infantryman, I understand the importance of having a reliable and well-crafted knife. After leaving the military, I found a passion for creating knives that not only functioned as a tool, but also had a unique aesthetic appeal. I decided to pursue my passion and became a professional knifemaker, honing my skills over the years and perfecting my craft. For me, knife-making is more than just a job, it's a way of life. I take pride in creating high-quality knives that are not only beautiful, but also perform flawlessly in any situation. Whether it's for outdoor activities, culinary arts, or personal protection, I believe that a well-made knife is an essential tool that can be passed down for generations. With each new knife I create, I strive to push the boundaries of my craft and provide my customers with a piece that they can truly cherish.
Where it all Began
As a young boy I remember the first knife my dad gave me. it was Christmas and I asked so many times that year for a knife just like my granddads, that I just knew I would get it. well when I opened that Swiss Army knife I was filled with so much joy! little did I know that was the beginning of my love for knives. Through out my years since then I had been trying to find the perfect knife for me and never could seem to find one that really clicked for me. Then one day I wondered upon one of Walter Sorrells’s videos on YouTube about knife making. from that point forward I knew that was what I wanted to do…. and after many many failed attempts, hours and hours of practice and way to much money spent on tools I finally did it, I made my first knife! Now that was many years ago but the joy has never changed I love what I do!
Craftsmanship is at the core of what I do. I take great pride in every knife I make, and strive to create a product that is not only visually stunning, but also performs at the highest level. Each knife is crafted with precision and attention to detail, using the finest materials available. I spend countless hours designing, shaping, and refining each piece until it meets my exacting standards. From the selection of the steel to the finishing touches, every step of the process is done with care and dedication. I believe that a well-made knife is a work of art that should be both functional and beautiful, and I take great pride in creating products that meet those criteria. Seeing my customers appreciate and use my knives is the greatest reward I can receive, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for craftsmanship with others
